The weather has cooled off, college and NFL football has started, and pumpkin spice everything is invading stores everywhere. That can only mean one thing….fall is here!
Fall is one of the best times of the year here in Charlotte, NC because we all need a break from the blazing hot sun. But just because the weather has cooled off, it doesn’t mean that you have to sit around and be a couch potato. There are so many fun and exciting things going on in the Fall.
If yo thought that all the exciting stuff happened at the Whitewater Center during the summer you couldn’t have been more wrong. Throughout September and October the USNWWC is chock full of fun and exciting events. And with all the variety there’s to be something for everyone. You may not want to get in the water but you can still zipline, bike, yoga and even enjoy some movies through the film series.
Fall Festivals
There’s no shortage of Fall Festivals in and around the Queen City. The Greek Festival (one of Charlotte’s most popular just wrapped up) but there’s still plenty to enjoy. Festival in the Park, Scarowinds, and the Charlotte Film Festival are all quickly approaching so be sure to check out all the fun events.
Sporting Events
The fall may not be as busy as the spring and summer when it comes to sporting events, but there’s still plenty going on. Hopefully the Panthers get back to super-bowl form and play well again this year. This is also a great area for college football. Charlotte being a transplant city means that you can find a venue n the area that supports your favorite college team.
And pretty soon, before you know it NBA basketball will be here. So be sure to get down to the hive this year and check out the Hornets new uniforms.
