Football Season Officially Starts
NFL Season is upon us! If you want to help celebrate the beginning of the season in person, you can attend one of the first games of the season, the Carolina Panthers vs. the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, September 9 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The game starts at 4:25 p.m. and you can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster.
Yiasou Greek Festival
From September 6-9 you can enjoy celebrating Greek culture at the Yiasou Greek Festival in Charlotte! The Greek word for cheers, hello, and goodbye, Yiasou has been a tradition in Charlotte since 1978. Entertainment includes live music and dancing along with wine tasting, art, and shopping. Everyone can enjoy Greek culture at the Yiasou Greek Festival!
Great Pumpkin Fest at Carowinds
Beginning September 15 during the day on Saturdays and Sundays, you can come to Carowinds to celebrate the Great Pumpkin Fest to enjoy all the festivities of fall. This family-friendly event includes a costume parade, mazes, and much more for kids of all ages. Catch this event while you can—it only runs until October 28!
Annual Sip and Stroll at Rooftop 210
This art, wine, and music festival takes place from September 28 to September 29 at Rooftop 210 on E Trade Street in Charlotte. Over 40 vineyards will be attending this event, so come and enjoy some local wine, live music, and the best artists in Charlotte. Don’t worry about the weather—the event is rain or shine!
