One of the things I love most about Charlotte are the huge variety of things to do, right here in town. Whether you love strolling through a trendy museum, call yourself a foodie, want to golf, catch a show (live music or Broadway) or catch a sporting event, it is all right here in the Queen City.
One thing about Charlotteans, whether native or transplant, is our love for sports. There is always great support from the fans and community whether its the Panthers, NASACR, the Checkers, roller derby, the Bobcats or the Charlotte Knights. (Ok, so maybe not the Bobcats, but they will be the Hornets again).
There has been much anticipation revolving around the new Charlotte Knights stadium. The highly anticipated single game tickets go on sale for the general public at 9:00am on March 8th. After the initial sales they will also go on sale by phone (704-357-8071) and online at CharlotteKnights.com at 12 noon on March 8th.
If you’re looking for tickets to Opening Day on April 11, head out to BB&T Ballpark also on Saturday, March 8th. You will be able to purchase single-game tickets for the July 3rd USA Baseball game and the September 16th Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game.
For Standing Room Only, tickets start as low as $8 and all other tickets range between $8 and $18 for Field Box Seats. Fans are also able to save $2 on their tickets, throughout the year if they purchase them in advance. Children under 12, active Military members, and seniors 55 and older can also enjoy $2 off of their purchase price as well.

Are you looking forward to the new stadium uptown? I know I am. It’s a great way to spend some time with your family and/or friends without breaking the bank, and it’s a great new reason to head to uptown Charlotte.
