Entrepreneur Events in Charlotte

As many of you know I am a serial entrepreneur, and current owner of YourOffice-Ballantyne.  I’m always interested in new ways to grow my business, and I love to attend events with fellow business owners and entrepreneurs.

Last week I wrote about a really cool event coming to Charlotte for entrepreneurs.  If you missed it you can check it out right here. The event was the Southeast Venture Conference coming to the Charlotte Ritz-Carlton in March. I am looking forward to the event, but it also got me thinking about what other stuff is going on in the city for business owners and entrepreneurs.

I did a quick search of “Charlotte entrepreneurs” on Google and one of the first site’s to come up was MeetUp.com.  They had a bunch of different entrepreneur organizations and events happening in and around Charlotte.  If you are looking to connect and network with some like-minded entrepreneurs in the area be sure to check this out.  They have events happening all over Charlotte in the month of March alone.  A few of the organizations require that you join the MeetUp group to see their list of events.  It only takes a second, and it’s usually low or no cost.

Another great website that I came across with a ton of events for entrepreneurs in Charlotte, was CharlotteBusinessResources.com.  Their calender of events was jam packed in March.  I liked the broad range of events. You can find out more info on how to start a biz, how healthcare reform will effect your business, learn time-management skills, and tons of other stuff.  This is a great resource whether you are the seasoned pro, or just starting out.

The weather is warming up, Spring is around the corner, and I’m looking forward to everything that’s going on in the Charlotte area.
