1. Trans-Siberian Orchestra
What holiday season would be complete without a trip to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra? On November 20, 2014, they’ll be performing at the Time Warner Cable Arena starting at 7pm. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be performing the rock opera, The Christmas Attic, live for the first time at venues all around the country. 2. A Christmas Spectacular
Not able to make it to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra but would still like to see a great Christmas performance? Look no further than the Christmas Spectacular at Halton Theater this November 30! Get into the holiday spirit with over 300 performers, dancers, singers, and a full orchestra. Admission ranges from $25-$50 and the event begins at 7:30pm. 3. Jingle Bell Bash
Looking for a holiday event that you can feel good about? At the 2014 Jingle Bell Bash on December 6th you can enjoy a great evening filled with dancing, live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and even a silent auction. That’s not all, however; all proceeds will benefit the Safe Alliance organization which is committed to providing hope and healing for victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and child abuse. 4. GingerSnap 5k
Looking for a way to burn off those extra holiday calories? Why not give the annual GingerSnap 5k a try? Admission is $25 up until December 5 and then $30 on race day. The race begins at 8am on December 6, 2014, and takes place in downtown Waxhaw. For more information be sure to call 704-814-0258.
5. The Nutcracker
Looking for a festive event that’s good for the whole family? Why not come out to see Charlotte’s only performance of the Nutcracker this year at the Dale Halton Theatre! With professional, international guest artists as well as local and regional talent this classic performance, with a few added twists and surprises, will be sure to delight viewers of all ages.
